RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Parents/Guardians will be bound by the school rules in all respects as they are updated from time to time. In all matters of dispute the decision of the principle will be binding on the parents or guardians.
- In accordance with the rules, parents/guardians will not hold the school accountable as the school is indemnified against all claims are arising out of the acts of illness, accident or any other causes.
- On behalf of the parents/guardians, the principal is authorized to take necessary action in case of any emergency; e.g. surgical operations or any other such situations where their permission is needed but cannot be obtained in time.
- Smoking, use of alcoholic drinks or drugs, molestation, assault, groping and leaving school without any permission are strictly prohibited. Students involved in any such or similar activities will be rigorously punished or expelled from the school.
- The principal is fully empowered to remove a student from the school hostel if, in his opinion, the student has failed to abide by the disciplinary standards of the school, and if his continued retention is detrimental to the interest of other students of the school.
- Damage to school property will have to be made good by the parents of the defaulting students in the mode of penalties.
- Mobile phones are strictly prohibited to keep it with a student in the school campus. If found, they will be confiscated for good and the ward will also be fined.
- Students can communicate with their parents or guardians through hostel telephone system installed in all the hostels. However, in case of any emergency, Principal/Housemaster/Warden can be contacted.
- For ordinary ailments, parents are not informed. If a student is admitted in hostel dispensary or Hospital, the guardians are informed.
- Only parents or relative nominated by parents will be allowed to visit or meet their wards between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on last date of every month. However, parents who wish to take their wards for outing must leave them back by 4:00 p.m. on the very same day. If a border does not report back timely, he/she will be fined ₹500 per day and this facility of outings would be withdrawn.
- Parents/guardians are not expected to meet their wards directly in the hostel. They should meet them through their housemaster/warden. They will not meet their wards in their bedrooms or study room, but only in the parents’ lounge.
- Any leave will not be granted during examination days, annual events, school functions etc. Borders may be allowed a maximum of two days’ leaves for the wedding of his/her own brother or sister only.
- Leave may be granted for some particular medical treatment. If a student is absent due to some illness, an application to that effect should be accompanied by a medical certificate or prescription report from a registered MBBS doctor.
- For all kinds of leave, written request or email by parents/guardians should be made to the principal in advance. No leave will be granted on a student’s request or a request made to telephone.
- Parents/guardians should note the date and the time of their ward’s return to school after leave. If she/he does not report on due date, his/her name will be struck off from the school rolls and he/she may not be accepted back.
- The same rule applies for returning or returning late after summer or winter vacations. For the absence of first 10 days, a fine of ₹500 will be charged per day, thereafter, their names will be struck off from the school rolls and re-admission fee shall be charged in case the students have to come back.
- No leave is granted for celebrating birthdays. However, if parents/guardians wish the school will arrange or organize the celebration, the expenses occurred will be paid by parents. Birthday celebration will be as per the date of birth entered in the admission form. Parents can visit their ward on his or her birthday.
- As per school regulations, payment of school fees in advance for three months is mandatory.
Failure to comply with this rule may result in appropriate disciplinary action or administrative action by the school.
- Delay in fee payment may result in a late fine.
- If a student/parents/guardian seeks cancellation of admission for any reason, no refund shall be made under any circumstances for any amount paid, including admission fee, registration fee, tuition fee, hostel fee, or any other charges, irrespective of the date of cancellation.
No claim for refund or compensation shall be entertained.
- The school campus provides 24×7 electricity for the convenience and safety of students. Students must use electrical facilities carefully and responsibly.
Any misuse or damage will invite strict disciplinary action.
- In case of power failure, the school has a generator (genset) facility to ensure uninterrupted academic and hostel activities.
- To maintain discipline and proper routine, all lights must be switched off by 10:00 PM. Students must strictly follow this rule to ensure adequate rest and energy for the next day.
- All students must wake up at 5:00 AM every day without exception.
Immediately after waking, students are expected to follow the prescribed morning routine, which includes personal cleanliness, physical training, academic preparation etc. as per schedule.
- Students must report at the PT ground on time, in proper PT uniform.
